Why Indian Students Prefer China to Study Medicine

Many MBBS aspirants from India choose China as one of the destinations to study medicine. In fact, China has become one of the popular study abroad destinations to study MBBS, especially for Indian students. There are many reasons students prefer to study in China. Let us see in brief, why Indian students prefer to study MBBS in China.

Medical aspirants in India are increasing every year. However, due to new entrance education and compulsory NEET exam qualification, many students are unable to meet their dreams.

Studying MBBS in India has become quite competitive to grab a seat in the Government Colleges. Regardless of high scores, even if a student score more than 90% marks, it is difficult to admission in MBBS. Cost of Medical Programs in India is expensive when compared with China.

reasons to study mbbs in china

    1. High competition, increasing every year
    2. High cost of education

These are the two major factors that influence students to choose China as their preferred destination to study MBBS. Of course, there are other destinations like Ukraine, Philippines and Russia to study MBBS abroad. However, when compared with the economic growth, safety concerns and language, China becomes the most preferred destination.

Students who realize it is difficult to pass the entrance exam or did not qualify in the entrance exam or did not get admission due to high competition, make up their mind to study MBBS in other countries. In addition, high cost of MBBS in India is another reason students prefer to study in China.

Chinese government enrolls international students in 49 universities. Among 150 Universities in China, Medical Council of India has recognized and approved study of MBBS in 45 universities. So, studying medicine in China is approved by Indian Medical Council. However, students should remember China not only enroll students from India to study MBBS. Medical institutes in China enroll international students to study MBBS, from various countries.

Since medicine in China is regarded as internationally reputed medical program, the quality of education offered by these universities is above par. This is also a major reason Indian students choose China to study MBBS.

Language is not a major problem in China for the students, since English is predominantly spoken. It makes comfortable study abroad destination than Russia and Ukraine. All medical universities and institutes are tied with the well-equipped hospitals for practical training and exposure. This practical approach to train in the hospital is implemented from the beginning. China provides greater safety to female students when compared with other countries.

Enrollment to MBBS is an easy procedure followed by entrance exam. Once a student quailed in the entrance exam, he or she attends direct interviews taken by CMEI Management team. Scores in entrance exam, followed by interview, the admission will be confirmed by the panel.

Studying MBBS program in China is a great opportunity for the aspiring candidates; the fee is affordable, comfy climate, amicable environment, high quality education, no language problems and all amenities.
