NEET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

There is a certain eligibility criteria set by NTA to apply for the NEET 2021. Students fulfilling this criterion are eligible to appear in the examination. Students belonging to Union Territories like Jammu and Kashmir are not eligible for All India Quota seats that are up to 15 percent.
Age of the candidate appearing in the exam should be at least 17 years till 31st December2021. There is no upper limit set by the authorized body NTA for the aspirants. Moreover, the minimum qualification of the candidate should be Higher Secondary Certificate Education.
Minimum marks required to obtain a Higher Secondary Education is categorized in three broad categories.

NEET 2021 Application form
Application form for NEET 2021 examination will be released in the first week of December 2020. NTA has not yet announced the official dates but it will likely be in the first week of December. So, the students who want to appear in NEET 2021 will have to fill application fees. Registration process of NEET is less time consuming and simple. It contains your personal and academic details. Without registration, appearing in exams or taking admission is not possible.
Registration process of NEET 2021
The entire process of registration is mentioned stepwise. By following these steps you can easily apply for NEET 2021 examination.
Registration is an online process. Therefore, candidates have to visit the official website of NTA, ntaneet.nic.in. To start the application filing procedure, candidates must have a valid contact number and email ID.
- Go to the website and click on the online registration link.
- Now the second step is to click on New Registration on application form.
- When the new application will open fill general details that are required for getting a Login ID and password.
- After filling the form, you will get an OTP on your registered mobile number.
- Fill that OTP number on the application form.
- After filling OTP, you will get your application form number.
- Next step is to login with your application form number and Password. After filling password, click login button.
- After completing first step [Login], second step is to Fill NEET 2021 Application form. In this step you have to fill information like personal details, qualifications, address details, etc. Examination center is also chosen in this step. Choose exam centers wisely because you cannot change it later.
- In the next step you have to upload scanned copies of required documents. While uploading documents, take care of the specified dimensions set by NTA.
- Now the last step is to pay application fees and take a print out for future use.

NEET 2021 Examination Pattern
As the NEET is an examination conducted for providing admission in medical courses and programs, this examination generally contains questions based on three main subjects Physics, chemistry and biology. Later, biology is divided into two parts called Botany and Zoology. Pattern of examination is of Multiple Choice Type Questions.
There are a total of 180 questions to be asked in this examination for 720 marks. Each subject contains 45 questions for 180 marks. 4 marks is allotted for each correct answer and 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer.

NEET 2021 Examination Language

The results of NEET 2021 will be announced on 4th of June 2021. It will be released on the official portal of NTA. Aspirants have to enter their ID and Password to check the results. However, the merit list will also be announced after a few weeks.
NEET 2021 Cut-off marks
NEET cut-off marks or percentile is a minimum required score which candidates have to obtain to get admission in their favorite college or university. For NEET 2021 NTA has set cut-off percentile for General category candidate is 50 percentile, 40 percentile for ST/SC/OBC and 45 percentile for physically handicapped candidates to get admission.
NEET 2021 counselling process
Due to Coronavirus, NEET 2021 counselling will be conducted online. Counselling process will be started from the second week of June 2021.
