Andhra Pradesh NEET Counselling Overview 2025
One of the Indian states that has its own NEET counselling procedure for medical college admissions is Andhra Pradesh. On behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Government, the Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences will handle the NEET counselling in Andhra Pradesh. The applicants who passed the NEET exam will be able to take part in the online counselling process.
According to the official notice of AP NEET UG counselling there are three rounds of counselling for medical and dental courses, with a mop-up round for each category of seats. The counselling process is conducted online by the official authority.
Thus, students who meet the requirements for NEET UG can apply online for MBBS and BDS programs under the Andhra Pradesh state quota. These seats are given to candidates based on their NEET UG score.

Eligibility Criteria of Andhra Pradesh NEET UG Counselling 2025
- Candidates for the NEET Entrance Exam need to have fulfilled the requirements.
- Candidates must be Andhra Pradesh residents.

Counselling Procedure for AP NEET UG 2025:
Step1 – (Register & Login): When it is issued, candidates can click the link on this page to access the AP NEET counselling online portal. Applicants have to submit their NEET score, roll number, and application registration number after selecting the “web counselling” option.
Step 2- (Choice filling Process): The AP NEET counseling online choice filling will appear on the screen. There will be a list of colleges including the name, location, courses, college code, and college.
Step 3- (Saving Choices): Once you have successfully selected & Preference, enter the selected information and press the “save” button. After the scheduled time for AP NEET counselling, the choices you’ve made will automatically lock. In that mobile number which is registered OTP will be sent. After that click “submit”.

How to Apply for Andhra Pradesh NEET Counselling 2025?
Step 1: To apply for AP NEET UG Counselling 2025 applicant needs to go to the official website (http://ntruhs.ap.nic.in/).
Step 2: Click the “New Registration”.
Step 3- (Personal Information): After completion of the registration and account activation process, candidates must complete the personal information form. Make sure all the information on the application form is correct.
Step 4- (Upload Photo and Signature): The candidate must upload a high contrast passport-size photo (taken with a placard bearing the candidate’s name and the date of the photo shoot) and the full signature in both Hindi and English (without capital letters) after properly scanning them after entering their personal information. Click “Save & Continue” once you’ve uploaded the photo and signature.
Step 5- (Educational Information): The candidate should enter his or her educational background on the computer screen and select “Save & Continue” after uploading the scanned copy of their signature.
Step 6-(payment & Fees): Upon completing all the necessary fields, applicants need to make the payment. There won’t be a return of the counselling fees.
The counselling fee can be pay in one of the following two types:

2: Payment by Bank Challan
Counselling Fees: The application and counselling fee is Rs.3540 (including GST) for OC/BC categories and Rs.2950 (including GST) for SC/ST categories, plus additional bank charges.
Document Requirement for AP NEET UG Counselling
