A national entrance examination NEET 2023 is a big opportunity Indian for medical students who are seeking admission in re-known institutes like AIIMS or JIPMER Puducherry. This year NTA allotted 76928 MBBS, 26949 BDS, 52720 AYUSH, 200 JIPMER, and 1205 AIIMS seats through NEET 2023.

NEET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Registration Process of NEET 2023
The entire process of registration is mentioned stepwise. By following these steps, you can easily apply for NEET 2023 examination.
- Registration is an online process. Therefore, candidates have to visit the official website of NTA. To start the application filing procedure, candidates must have a valid contact number and email ID.
- Go to the official website, and click on the online registration link.
- Now the second step is to click on “New Registration” on the application form.
- When the new application will open fill in general details that are required for getting a Login ID and password.
- After filling out the form, you will get an OTP on your registered mobile number.
- Fill in that OTP number on the application form.
- After filling OTP, you will get your application form number.
- The next step is to log in with your application form number and Password. After filling password, click the login button.
- After completing the first step [Login], the second step is to fill NEET application form. In this step, you have to fill in information like personal details, qualifications, address details, etc. An examination center is also chosen in this step. Choose exam centers wisely because you cannot change them later.
- In the next step, you have to upload scanned copies of the required documents. While uploading documents, take care of the specified dimensions set by NTA.
- Now the last step is to pay application fees and take a printout for future use.

The fee of NEET has been increased. NEET application fees vary according to the categories. Paying application fees is the last step of registration. Candidates can pay there either by debit card, credit card e-challan, or net banking.

NEET 2023 Examination Pattern
As the NEET is an examination conducted for providing admission to medical courses and programs, this examination generally contains questions based on three main subjects Physics, chemistry, and biology. Later, biology is divided into two parts called Botany and Zoology. The pattern of examination is Multiple-Choice Type Questions.
There are a total of 200 questions to be asked in this examination for 720 marks. The candidates have to answer 180 questions. Each subject contains 45 questions for 180 marks. 4 marks is allotted for each correct answer and 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer.

NEET 2023 Examination Language

NEET Selection Process
The selection process of NTA is quite simple and Hassle-free. All you require is to log in with provided ID and password to your registered account. However, several other platforms also release answer keys for the NEET examination.
NEET 2023 Results
The results of NEET 2023 will be during the first or second week of August. You can check the result on the official portal of NTA. The aspirant needs to enter their ID and Password to check the results. Furthermore, the merit list will also be announced after a few weeks.
NEET Cut-Off Marks
NEET cut-off marks or percentile is a minimum required score that candidates have to obtain to get admission to their favourite college or university. For NEET 2022 NTA has set the cut-off percentile for General category candidates as 50 percentile, 40 percentile for ST/SC/OBC, and 45 percentile for physically handicapped candidates to get admission.
NEET Counselling Process
The NEET 2023 counselling will be conducted within a month after the NEET result announcement. The official date for counselling is not decided yet. Students who have scored high percentile have higher chances to secure seats in the best medical institutes.
The counselling will be conducted for 15% of All India Quota seats, and State Quota Seats.
The MCC will conduct AQI seat counselling for NEET. There are four rounds in the counselling process for admissions in medical colleges, institutes, and universities across nations. Moreover, seats are allotted based on merits marks, availability of seats, the number of students who appeared, etc.
