Course Duration and language

MBBS in Belgium Medical Universities will take six years to finish. Whereas, courses are instructed either in French, German or Dutch as many offer in English. • Age of the candidate should not be less than 17 years at the admission year.

• Candidates must have completed their higher secondary education with Physics, chemistry, biology and English from a recognized board of council.

• Candidates must have got at least 75% aggregate in P/C/B subjects.

• Indian students are required to qualify NEET examination with good scores to take admission in MBBS in Belgium.
• Candidates have to clear Proficiency Test.

An undergraduate student can easily look for a part time job in Belgium to support your Living or learning expenses but for this you may need permission as a form work permit to work during studies. If you ask your university will provide you information in this regard and other expenses that you need to consider is health insurance. 

If you are a European health Insurance Card holder that you can easily access the healthcare services at the same cost as the citizens of Belgium are availing. If you don’t hold such a card, you need to purchase health insurance or will ensure that your current policy is valid to stay in Belgium.

Visa

If you are a candidate of EU/EEA countries you will not require a Visa to study MBBS in Belgium. However, if you are a member of Non EU/EEA countries you need to apply for a Visa. Candidates can apply for student visas at Belgian Embassy or Consulate in their own country. 

It may take a long time for processing Visa and your visa to be granted. Make sure you have enough time to get your Visa from the Belgium Embassy. For smooth and fast access apply a month or a couple of months earlier.
