Internship & Practical Education
Students who pass the final professional MBBS test are required to join in a one-year rotational internship program that is log book based. 11 months, 15 days at the Medical College Hospital, and 15 days at UHC were spent in this one year. The internship program will have greater oversight and structure. To gain permanent registration for independently practice medicine, students must complete the Internship Training Program developed by BM&DC.
The primary goal of the training is to provide the knowledge, abilities, and attitudes needed to address common health issues that are typically seen in hospitals and the community. This is regulated and closely watched. The trainees will be eligible for an honorarium or suitable subsistence allowance. To secure a permanent license to practice independently, it is mandatory to successfully complete the Internship Training Program designed by BM&DC.
