Career Institute of Medical Sciences and Hospital was established in the year 2011. The institute was launched with the approval from the Medical Council of India and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

The Career Institute of Medical Sciences is one of the leading private medical colleges in Lucknow. Since this is one of the recently established medical college, the institute was constructed with the objective to provide high quality medical education incorporating the quality, values, and advanced technology. The college is affiliated to Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Faizabad,Uttar Pradesh.

The campus has a hospital attached to it. Both the campus and the hospital feature advanced and modern facilities. From critical care to emergency care, the hospital provides comprehensive health care facilities with advanced treatment methods. The hospital is a 600 bedded multispecialty hospital, which also forms part of the curriculum. The students take up internship training from the hospital, assigned in different departments.

Courses offered by Career Institute of Medical Sciences & Hospital

CIMSH offers the 5.5 years MBBS courses inclusive of rotational training. Apart from MBBS, BDS is another undergraduate course offered by the medical institute. Intake of students for MBBS is 100 per year.

The college has applied to offer recognition to conduct PG courses in different streams of MD and MS.

Admission to MBBS in Career Institute of Medical Sciences & Hospital

Students who passed the NEET exam after completion of class 12 higher secondary exam with science stream can apply for the MBBS admission in Career Institute of Medical Sciences & Hospital.

NEET eligibility score is decided based on the merit. In addition, the minimum score in higher secondary shall be minimum 50 %.
