Cebu Doctor’s University is a private medical university located in Mandaue, city Cebu. It is an acronym as CDU. Cebu University is one of the famous higher medical education institutions of the Philippines. It was established in 1975 exclusively for healthcare services.

 It was crowned by the status of University in 2004. After that it has launched many health programs in the allied sector of medicine and science. It has graduated many medical professionals every year.

It has a facility of On-campus University Hospital training capacity with over 1000 beds for clinical rotational internship. It is also affiliated with many other hospitals. Course structure of Cebu is similar to Indian curriculum.

Course duration

Course duration of Doctor of Medicine, MBBS is five and a half years long. This educational period prepares you to get basic and professional knowledge in the field of Medicine. During this period you will learn about the basic anatomy of the human body, how to diagnose, how to provide treatment and handle critical situations. 

Course is mainly divided into two parts;

• 2 years -Pre-medical course,
• 4 years – MBBS course.

CDU fees structure for five and a half years will cost between 7000USD to 7500USD per year. However living and food is available at very low cost. Students can save some money by staying in the university’s hostel. There is a separate room for boys and girls along with a healthy and hygienic food canteen.

CDU MBBS Eligibility Criteria 

Eligibility criteria of MBBS course admission is as follows;

• Students must have accomplished a minimum of 18 years age and maximum age should be 30 years. 
• Indian students must have to appear in NEET entrance examination and have obtained minimum qualifying scores. 
• Students are required to pass with subjects like Physics, biology, chemistry and English as a compulsory subject. 
• Minimum required marks for General category students is 50% and for reserved categories it is 40% marks.
