The college was established in the year 2011. The establishment and commencement of the courses were made only after receiving the recognition and approval from the Medical Council of India. There is another medical college functioning under the same name at Hapur. These medical colleges form part of the Rama group of institutions. Rama Medical College is affiliated to the Rama University.

MBBS is the major undergraduate course offered by the Rama Medical College. It is a 5.5 years course which includes one year intern training at the hospital attached to the college.

Admission to MBBS in Rama Medical College

All admission to join MBBS in Rama Medical College is done through NEET eligibility. In addition to this, the basic eligibility criteria must be met. Applications must have passed the class 12 examination with a minimum of 50% of the marks along with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as the major subjects.

Tuition fees for MBBS course per year is 11.86 lakhs, as per the fee structure for the academic year 2017-2018.

Tuition fees for post graduate MD courses range from 3 lakhs to 12 laksh per annum.

For M.Sc post graduate courses the fee is 70k per annum.

Hostel fee inclusive of all facilities from food to electricity, laundry, etc is 3 lakhs per annum.

Hostel fee for M.Sc students is 60k per year.
