Nationality:
- An Indian citizen is required for NEET UG Counselling.
Domicile Candidate:
- The applicant needs to be an authorized Tamil Nadu resident.
- To take part of Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling It is not necessary for candidates who have finished their state-mandated class 6–12 education to turn in their nativity certificate. On the other hand, if their parents are illiterate, they must present their ration card, SSLC/10/12 certificate, birth certificate, or no graduate certificate.
- Applications from residents of other states who reside in Tamil Nadu must be admitted in the open category since they are not regarded as domicile.
- Tamil Nadu residents who have completed their partial education from class 6 to class 12 in another state are required to turn in the relevant parent documentation listed above. The certificate of nativity cannot be replaced with permanent residence certificate.

Tamil Nadu MBBS & BDS Admission Procedure: First Phase
- Using a demand draft made payable to “The Secretary, Selection Committee, Kilpauk, Chennai-10,” candidates must pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) on the designated counselling date in Chennai.
- As scheduled, the candidates can download the call letter and show up in person at the designated location with all of their original certificates.
- The candidates chosen for the initial round of counselling should get the provisional allotment order after certificate verification. As specified in the provisional allotment order, candidates must enroll in the course by the deadline.
- Those candidates who were given seats but did not enroll in the course within the permitted time period will not be able to attend the future counselling sessions for the 2024–2025 academic year. This is true for all counselling phases.
- For the academic year 2024 or 2025, the candidates who did not show up in person for the first counselling phase are considered to have opted out of the counselling proceedings and will not be permitted to take part in the subsequent counselling phases.
NOTE: It is important to remember that only applicants whose names are on the list will be able to access the Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling process.
How to Apply for Tamil Nadu MBBS Counselling 2024
- To apply for Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counselling 2024 applicant needs to go to the official website.
- Applicants should go to www.tnhealth.org, fill out the online form, and upload their all the information into the required fields before submitting it. Students should mail the printout of their completed online application form, together with any required attachments.
- The application fee is Rs.500/-, and it can be paid for using either the online bank payment gateway or a demand draft made payable to “The Secretary, Selection Committee, Kilpauk, Chennai-10” in Chennai.
- The application form should be sent by students to THE SECRETARY, SELECTION COMMITTEE, 162, PERIYAR E.V.R. HIGH ROAD, KILPAUK, CHENNAI – 10.
- Then, the Merit List will be released. And finally result also will be published.
- Students have to go through with reporting, fees submission, and document verification.
