About the College
In the 2004–05 academic year, 50 students were admitted to Ibn Sina Medical College, marking the start of its academic endeavors. A total of 20 batches totaling 1183 students have completed the course through the years up to 2024.
The Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council, a compitent authority of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, has granted the college recognition and affiliation with the University of Dhaka. The 14th batch of students is about to finish their internship at our hospital. For the 2023–2024 session, the admissions process is now underway. The Academic Council publishes and adopts government orders, and the Governing Body of ISMC decorates them. Admission is granted on the basis of merit.
The current ISMC academic building is a fourteen-story, 1,29,000-square-foot skyscraper. With 9,214 square feet on each floor, academic facilities are housed independently. Each department typically consists of one floor with instructor rooms, tutorial rooms, galleries, and museums. There are also facilities for prayers, a canteen, a common area, an information center, and a waiting area for guardians. The principal’s office, conference room, teachers lounge, administrative wings, and library are located on the sixth and seventh floors, which form the core of the structure.

Ibn Sina Medical College MBBS Admission Process
Both domestic and international students may now enroll in the MBBS program at our medical college. Merit-based admissions will be made in accordance with DGME. International students must apply in accordance with the regulations and through the relevant country’s embassy. Students must pick up their S.S.C. (Class X) and H.S.C. (Class XII) equivalency certificates from the People’s Republic of Bangladesh’s Director General of Health Services.
Applications for the MBBS program for this academic year are now being accepted by the Director General of Health Services. Admissions decisions shall be made exclusively on the basis of merit and in accordance with the People’s Republic of Bangladesh’s policies.
