Jharkhand NEET Counselling Eligibility Criteria 2025
Applications for the Jharkhand NEET Counselling will be available Online after the NEET 2025 result declaration. Education Criteria:
- A minimum of 50% of the possible score must be obtained in PCB/Biotechnology when taken together in the qualifying exam, and the candidate must have passed both PCB/Biotechnology and English separately.
- Candidates from SC, ST, BC-I, or BC-II categories must score a minimum of 40% rather than 50% in PCB/biotechnology for Unreserved General-EWS candidates in the qualifying exam.
- The minimum score required for PwD candidates in the PCB (or Botany & Zoology)/Biotechnology qualifying exam should be 45% rather than 50%.
Criteria for Residential Apply:
- In addition to being a local or permanent resident of Jharkhand, the candidate must be an Indian citizen. In 7/Aa. Niti (Sarvdaliaye Baithak) 27/2002 (Khand)ka.-3198/, dated 18.04.2016, the Jharkhand government’s Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms, and Rajbhasa has defined and identified the “Local Resident of Jharkhand.”
- A local resident certificate in the correct format, issued by the appropriate authority (i.e., the Jharkhand State Dy. Commissioner, the Circle Officer, or the Sub Divisional Officer – Civil), must be uploaded by the candidate.
- The Residential Certificate issued by any authority that does not follow the format specified will not be accepted, and their claim will be rejected.
Reservation Based on Caste:
- The Jharkhand government’s current reservation policy will be conformed to for institute admission. In order to be eligible for reservation, candidates must upload a caste certificate in the correct format, issued by the Jharkhand State Dy. Commissioner or the Circle Officer or Sub Divisional Officer—(Civil).
- Their claim for reservation will be rejected if the caste certificate is issued by any other authority or is not in the required format. According to Jharkhand government’s Letter No. 14/Ja.Ni.-03-13/2015/Ka.-1754, dated February 25, 2019, candidates who fall under the categories of BC I and BC II must upload their caste certificates.

Procedure for Jharkhand NEET Counselling in 2025
