Important Points For Tamil Nadu NRI MBBS Admission:
- Candidates are encouraged to visit the Tamil Nadu Medical Selection Committee website (https://tnmedicalselection.org) for schedules, the most recent information, results, notices, news, and events related to counselling, as the Selection Committee will not be contacting each candidate directly.
- Before registering on the Selection Committee website for Institutional/Minority Quota seats of Minority Institutions, IRT wards, or CMC, Vellore, candidates are encouraged to verify their qualifying status.
- Every applicant needs to make sure that their mobile number and email address are correct. Candidates must input the OTP that was issued to their registered mobile number when they register. The email address and mobile number are crucial for all phases of the counselling and admissions process.
- The application form for Tamil Nadu NRI MBBS Admission may only be submitted once by a candidate. Candidates can apply for Government quota (If willing) separately.
- The candidate should make sure that all of the information they enter on the online application form is accurate and true. The Tamil Nadu Medical Selection Committee will not, under any circumstances, consider requests from candidates to amend the information they submitted in the online application/registration form; instead, the information will be regarded as accurate and self-certified.
- All of the documentation that the candidate submits will be their responsibility.
- If a candidate is discovered to have produced or submitted any document or certificate that is false, forged, or fake at any point during the counselling or admissions process, or later, their candidature will be cancelled, any seat they may have been assigned or joined will be immediately terminated, and appropriate legal action will be taken against them and/or their parents.
- Additionally, the candidate will not be permitted to participate in Tamil Nadu UG medical counselling for the current year (in any category) and would not be permitted to do so for the next three years. Additionally, he or she will forfeit all of the fees they have paid, including the security deposit and tuition.
- Refers to the percentage of seats (15% of SF college seats) set aside for NRI candidates in Self-Financing Medical Colleges. After all NRI applicants have exhausted their options, any remaining NRI quota seats would be converted to NRI lapsed seats in Round 3 and made available to MQ candidates. (Other MQ applicants may fill their preferences for such seats, with the exception of NRI candidates who have been assigned seats.)
