About UP CNET Exam 2025
For admission to the four-year BSc Nursing Program and the two-year Post Basic BSc Nursing Program, Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, UP, Lucknow (ABVMU) will administer the UP CNET, also known as the UP Common Nursing Entrance Test (CNET). All government and private nursing colleges connected to ABVMU will soon start accepting students for the 2025–2026 academic year.
The CNET entrance exam will be administered offline, using pens and paper and the exam duration will be 200 minutes. The test will consist of multiple-choice questions with four possible answers.

CNET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

- Admission requires a minimum age of 17 by December 31, 2025, at the latest.
- Candidates with an educational record in science who have completed the 10+2 exam must have earned at least 45% of the possible points in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) combined, as well as passing English separately from any accredited board.

UP BSc Nursing Entrance Exam (CNET) Application
The CNET application form will be accessible online for both the Post Basic BSc Nursing Course and the BSc Nursing Course. CNET Application Fees

CNET Application process
The following are the steps to complete the application:

- Click “Register” and enter all the information requested, including the candidate’s name, date of birth, age, gender, parents’ information, a working email address, and a working cellphone number.
- Candidates will receive their registration ID number on their registered phone number and email address after successfully registering.
- The “CNET 2025 Applicant Dashboard” can be successfully accessed by entering the registration ID and DOB.
- Pay the application fee online with a debit or credit card, net banking, or UPI after selecting the “Pay fee for B.Sc Nursing” button. Upon payment confirmation, select the “Fill form” button.
- The application form will automatically fill in the personal data provided in the registration form. Input the communication and permanent address. Enter the specifics of your educational background, including your 10th and 12th grade grades.
- Click submit after selecting your preferred three exam locations.
- Upload the verification form in the required format, together with a digital photo and your signature. The “Applicant dashboard” will feature the verification form, which must be properly completed before uploading.
- To proceed to the final submission form, enter the bank account information and click the “Confirm & Preview” button. Click “Final Submit” after carefully reviewing all the information on the application form.
Important Note:
Only JPG files with a white background are acceptable. It should be between 50 and 200 kb in size and 4.5 cm by 3.5 cm in size. The signature should only be in JPG format, with a white backdrop, and it should be between 50 and 200 KB in size.

CNET Admit Card 2025
Only the official website has the Uttar Pradesh CNET Admit Card available. By going to the portal and entering the login information they created after registration, applicants will be able to download the same. Applicants must keep their admit card safe because it will contain all the necessary information about the exam time, date, and location, as well as the candidate’s roll number. CNET Counselling and Selection Process 2025

Applicants must enroll in the course within the allotted time. The conducting organization will publish the first merit list of candidates who passed the exam with a common merit rank following the announcement of the CNET results. Candidates must pay Rs. 500 for the registration cost and Rs. 5000 for the counseling security fee online. The latter is refundable if no seat is assigned. Students will not be taken into consideration for counseling if they don’t accomplish this.
The applicant must pay a Rs 40,000 seat confirmation fee via bank challan or online. This sum will be deducted from the tuition after the counseling procedure is completed.
CNET 2025 Reservation Policy
- UP CNET Disability Reservation (PH): applicants with disabilities will be given preference in a 5% horizontal reservation, and their eligibility will be the same as that of applicants in the Unreserved (UR) category.
- A 10% EWS quota may be allowed in accordance with periodic U.P. government directives.
- Minority educational institutions shall be reserved in accordance with the policies and guidelines of the Uttar Pradesh government.
- Candidates need to be aware that reservation certificates need to be able to be verified online via a government website or portal.
