Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU) provides online NEET Counselling in Uttarakhand. The Uttarakhand NEET Counselling process is only open to those who have passed the exam. Three rounds of MBBS/BDS counselling are held by HNBUMU in Uttarakhand for 100% of private college seats and 85% of state quota seats. For the remaining 15% of the All India Quota and 100% of the Deemed/Central Universities/AIIMS Seats, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts the NEET Counselling.

Eligibility Criteria of Uttarakhand NEET UG Counselling
A registered candidate who meets the following requirements will be eligible for counselling and admission. These simple steps will make you understand well about Uttarakhand NEET UG Counselling Eligibility Criteria.
- Candidate should be an Indian citizen.
- According to the most recent directives/orders from the NTA (NEET UG-2025 examination conducting body), honorable courts, NMC, DCI, and the Indian government, the age eligibility requirements for NEET UG Uttarakhand State Centralized Counselling will be fulfilled.
- The candidate must have received at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English in the qualifying exam, in addition to passing each subject separately. Candidates from scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, or other backward classes will receive 40% rather than 50% of the possible score in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Biotechnology while taking the qualifying exam together. Additionally, candidates for General-PH and EWS-PH must receive a minimum of 45% marks as Persons with Disabilities.
- Should have passed the NEET UG exam and fulfilled all eligibility requirements listed in the NEET UG Information Bulletin.
- The candidates must be permanent or domiciled in Uttarakhand and must have passed the Intermediate (10+2) and High school (10th) exams, or an equivalent, from a recognized institution located in the state to be eligible for Uttarakhand MBBS Counselling.
- Applicants who have passed the intermediate (10+2) and high school (10th) exams, or an equivalent exam, from recognized educational institutions in the state of Uttarakhand but are not domiciled or permanent residents of the state, would also be eligible for Uttarakhand NEET Counselling. Still that candidates will not be eligible for a reservation.
- Candidates who are permanent or domiciled in Uttarakhand but who have completed their intermediate (10+2) and high school (10th) exams, or an equivalent exam from an accredited institution outside of the state, are also eligible for Uttarakhand NEET Counselling 2025.
Counselling Process of Uttarakhand NEET UG Counselling 2025
- All eligible candidates must register for the various rounds of NEET UG counselling if they would like to participate in the process for UG State/All India-Management quota seats. Therefore, a separate state merit list will be created and available for each counselling round depending on registration. After registering and paying the necessary fees, candidates who did not write in the first round of counselling may participate in the second and Mop-Up rounds.
- Only candidates who have registered will be able to participate in that specific counselling round.
- In order to register the candidate must provide the NEET UG examination details, a working mobile number, and other necessary information. In the following stages of the online application process, candidates will register their registered mobile number to receive an OTP (verification code).
- The candidate must pay an additional Rs. 500/-for each editing session (only online) if, after the final submission, they would like to change any information or upload new documents within the registration schedule. There will never be a period of time that can be added to change the data.
- The candidate must click SAVE after making changes to the form and double-check their entries. Finally, if the candidate is satisfied, they can submit the application of Uttarakhand NEET UG Counselling and take out the print copy. A paper copy of the printout will be regarded as null and void if a candidate makes changes to the earlier entries. He/She is unable to SAVE the state or complete any choices. In that specific round, they won’t be able to pick a seat.
- The form will automatically close at the time specified in the Uttarakhand MBBS counselling schedule if the candidate SAVES it but forgets to lock the completed choices. A candidate would not be eligible for seat assignment in that specific round if they were unable to load any options.

How to Apply for Uttarakhand MBBS Counselling 2025
- Step1: To apply for Uttarakhand NEET UG Counselling 2025 applicant needs to go to the official website.
- Step 2: After visiting the MCC’s official website you have to select “New Registration”.
- Step 3 (Personal Information): Candidates must provide their personal information after successfully creating and activating an account. When complete the online application form, make sure all the information is correct.
- Step 4 (Upload Photo and Signature): Following the submission of their personal data, the candidate have to upload a high contrast passport-size photo (taken with a placard bearing their name and the date of the photo shoot) and their complete, proper scanned signature in both Hindi and English (without capital letters). Click “Save & Continue” to apply for NEET UG Counselling 2025 when the photo and signature have been uploaded.
- Step 5 (Educational Information): The candidate uploads their scanned photo and signature, then on the computer screen, enters their educational background and clicks the “Save & Continue” button.
- Step 6 (Payment of Counseling Fee): Upon completing all the necessary information, candidates must pay the counselling fee. The counselling Fee of the candidate will not be refunded.
