Educational Qualification
- The candidates must have obtained a 10+2 degree in biology, chemistry, physics, and biotechnology. English is a required subject with a minimum grade of 50%. Candidates from the SC/ST category have to score 40% of the possible points, and candidates with physical disabilities must obtain 45%.
- For Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), the candidate must have fulfilled the rules and regulations Council’s minimum qualifying standards in the 12th Standard.

Counselling Procedure 2024
- The website www.medadmgujrat.org allows you to purchase a PIN for online registration by submitting an online payment of rs200.
- After a successful online registration, candidates have to make appointments previously for the Help Center’s Document Verification and Self-Attested Photocopy Submission processes. When printing the Registration Slip, candidates themselves can choose the Date and Help Center for Documents verification.
- For Local Quota: Applicants who would like to apply for seats in the Surat Municipal Institute of Medical Education & Research or the Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College in Ahmedabad’s local quota. Candidates must obtain a certificate from the Dean of the relevant institute attesting to their status as a local student of Ahmedabad or Surat City in addition to completing the online registration process. The aforementioned candidate must get in touch with the college.
- For NRI Candidates only: They must pay a processing fee of Rs. 10,000 to the office of ACPUGMEC, GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar only, after submitting their online application. The demand draft should be made payable to “ACPUGMEC, payable at Gandhinagar.”
