Eligibility Criteria for Studying MBBS in Marks Medical College

The following prerequisites have been determined by the National Medical Commission for foreign students looking to be admitted to MBBS program in Bangladesh:

• In accordance with directives from the office of the Director General of Health Services, the admissions committee chooses students only on the basis of merit. Students need to be mentally and physically fit.
• In order to prove their physical health, candidates will need to go through a medical examination. 
• Applicants for admission to the MBBS program must have passed the SSC and HSC or be of similar standing, with a minimum combined GPA of 9 and an individual GPA of 4.
• Applicants are not eligible for admission if they passed the HSC or an equivalent test two years before the start of the session. 
• Applicants who have completed their GCE O&A Level or intermediate education should receive a comparable certificate from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Dhaka, Bangladesh.
• A candidate for the MBBS program cannot be older than 25 and must be at least 17 years old.
• Students must have received a minimum cumulative marks of 50% in biology, chemistry, and physics from an approved board on their 12th grade exam in order to be eligible for the MBBS program.

MBBS Course at MRMCH

The college provides an MBBS course that lasts for five years. The University of Dhaka’s and the BM&DC’s defined syllabus are followed to completely by the college. All students must complete three-month Foundation Courses in Computer and English Language; there will be an additional fee that may change at any point throughout the academic year.
